Quelen Empilchada impresses with her balanced ratio of length, musculature and structure. Her conformation is characterised by elegance and strength, which makes her a real pleasure to train and ride. With her vitality and robustness, she has excellent qualities for breeding. She was bred in Uruguay and brings pure South American Definitivo blood into our Criollo breeding programme at La Presencia. We are already looking forward to the offspring!

Quelen Empilchada’s gentle nature is often emphasised as her greatest advantage. She is trusting and curious, which means that she has quickly adapted to her new surroundings and enjoys interacting with people and the other horses in the pasture. With her calm disposition, she is sure to be a brilliant mum to her little one

Quelen Empilchada has excellent genes due to her outstanding pedigree. Her sire, Espiao, is very similar to his brother by Bem Feito Cala Bassa, a Grand Champion by Esteio. Her dam is by Boticario, another Grand Champion by Prado, which further consolidates Quelen Empilchada’s heritage and gives her an excellent genetic foundation. The combination of these first-class bloodlines not only gives an insight into her potential as a broodmare, but also into her possibilities as an excellent riding horse.
