Breeder: Tomas y Martin Gurmendez Marquez, Cabaña El Chamamé, Uruguay

Granizada was purchased at auction during the annual remate of the famous Chamamé breed in April 2024 and first came from Uruguay to Italy. She was offered for sale by the Italian stud farm due to reorientation / reorganisation of their own breeding.

La Presencia Criollos is proud and happy to be able to acquire another excellent broodmare from del Chamamé breeding. Granizada’s sire is none other than the Argentinian stallion Yanca Elegante. Son of the famous stallion Charque Leopardo, Grand Campeón de Palermo.
Her dam is an important mare from the Chamamé breed, a very solid line from Mañanero Abanico, Gran Campeón Palermo and FICCC.

Granizada del Chamamé is a very well-groomed and tame mare with a balanced character. She is excellent to ride in all gaits and perfect as a leisure horse for all kinds of versatile activities.

This mare is an enrichment for our breeding programme: Modern and differentiated morphology, very feminine, and extremely solid and hard to find genetics in Europe.
